JP painting is A#1 in my book. My house is over 70 years old and needed ALOT of woodwork as it had alot of wood rot on the exterior. They made all the wooden pieces look like the original panels that were on the outside. The painting was fantastic and everything was cleaned up better than it was to start with. EXCELLENT JOB!! Would hire them again in a heartbeat!! Great company!! Professional in every way! Rating 100% . Thanks for all your GREAT WORK!!

The team of J&P (Phil and Paul along with Kiri in the office) did a GREAT job of communicating with me during all phases of the effort. During the proposal phase, they were quick to respond to all of my questions and did very well on the pricing as well. The paint was a reimbursement rate set up and that didn't bother them. I was sent copies of their professional level pricing for me to see and use. The workmanship was top notch and all explanations and promises were kept. My home is not small and stucco makes it a challenge...but not for these professionals. Would I recommend them? I already have to an interested neighbor and am happy to that again here!

We hired JP Painting San Diego to paint the exterior of our son's rental home. We selected JP among the other six bidders not only because their costs are more affordable and reasonable for us but also we were impressed by their overall proposal and resume.
The owner of JP, Phil Perez, was very approachable, pleasant to talk with, and listened well to what our son wants accomplished especially the colors. Phil's experience in home exterior painting is worth noting, giving us valuable suggestions that helped us decide for a better outcome. He had two workers with him and they were all very thorough, efficient, knowledgeable, safety-conscious and kept the work area clean.
The 1500 square footage home exterior job took them 3 days to complete as scheduled and the outcome was much better than what we expected. The home looks beautiful and new! I highly recommend JP Painting/Phil Perez. They are professionals!
Additional Comment on 8/24/2021:
On 8/13/2021, Phil asked my husband and me to inspect their work before they left that day. We did, but did not notice some paint mess at the bottom of the walls because it was already getting dark. We only noticed it a couple days later and called up Phil, who sent a crew right away and cleaned up the mess. Their responsiveness is worth mentioning, as well.

We are transparent with our pricing. Ounce we know what you want we can give you a price. We offer free estimates, usually we can give you an estimate after a quick conversation. We offer discounts on performing multiple services on a project.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Communication is key. We want to meet all our customers expectations. We will have a conversation to obtain an understanding of what the customer wants and recognize if we are capable of providing that.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked in this industry for almost three decades. I have performed the surface preparation and applied coatings on all types of substrates. The most important thing that I learned is proper surface preparation is key to a successful project, and also using quality primers paints and coatings.
