What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Designstiles has a two hour minimum for design consultation. Consultations are a fixed fee.
Full services projects are flat fee for design and hourly for project management.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every project starts with a consultation.
While some client will only need a consultation, others find they require more design help.
For clients who need more help, this is our Seven Step Process:
PHASE 1 | PROJECT INITIATION
Step 1: Consultation with Irene
PHASE 2 | DESIGN
Step 2: Trade Day
This is where we gather our trades to visit your home, measure the space and review the scope of work to develop quotes.
Step 3: Concept & Budget Review
We have a virtual meeting to show you the concept of the design and review the preliminary budget.
Step 4: Presentation
Designstiles presents the design complete with CAD drawings, material selections, elevations and 3-D Renderings (when applicable).
PHASE 3 | PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION
Step 5: Ordering & Installation
Orders are placed, trades are hired and installations begin.
Step 6: Reveal Day
This is the exciting moment when it all comes together and you get to see all of your decisions come to life.
Step 7: Project Closure & Deficiencies
Designstiles reviews the completed space and rectifies any deficiencies. All accounts are reconciled and the client is presented with the project binder.
