- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My minimum charge for an on-site visit and diagnostics is $150, which covers the first hour of labor or professional consultation. If the issue is resolved within that hour, or if it’s a minor project like installing 1–2 wireless cameras, $150 is the total price you pay — nothing more. Medium projects (3–5 wireless cameras or 1–2 wired/plug-in cameras) are usually completed the same day. For example, if you need 5 wireless cameras installed and set up, the price is $75 per camera, for a total of $375. Large projects or complex installations (3+ wired/PoE cameras) are usually scheduled within the next 48 hours. The price is $200 per wired/PoE camera for installation and setup. I also provide professional home security consultation services. My 15 years of day-to-day, hands-on experience in the industry allows me to quickly identify vulnerabilities and address them as efficiently as possible. There are many critical details you may not be aware of, and I can share valuable insights before you spend money on equipment. This includes evaluating the overall complexity and feasibility of the project, options for concealed wiring, solar-based solutions, backup power options, effective placement of cameras and recording devices, different types of cameras, monitoring services, intruder alarm systems, interior protection, perimeter protection, anti-jamming solutions, and the differences between various types of alarm sensors — factors you may not have even thought about.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If you contact me between 8 AM and midnight, I usually respond almost immediately. Please provide as much information as possible about your request and attach photos. The more detailed your request is, the faster and more accurate my response will be, including pricing and timeline. Please be patient if I don’t reply immediately or answer the phone. This usually means I’m with a client and unable to talk at that moment. I will get back to you as soon as I’m available. If your home has been robbed or there was an attempted break-in, I will do my best to come the same day or the next day, provide recommendations on what to purchase immediately, and complete the installation as soon as the equipment is delivered. Over 15 years of experience in the electronic security industry, progressing from installer to lead engineer in a local Ukrainian security firm, followed by two years at one of London’s largest security companies. Holder of multiple international certifications, including Hikvision, Brivo, Paxton, and other leading security brands.
