Rod has helped me improve so much, even after just a few lessons. He is very dedicated to his work and will work with you until you are satisfied with what you’ve achieved. As a tennis coach, he is also very responsive, punctual, and professional! Thank you for your help, Rod.Dec 22, 2018
Taking lessons with Rod has definitely improved my game. He's helped me a lot, particularly with footwork, movement and rhythm. He's up to date with trends in coaching and used video analysis with me. I can tell Rod is passionate about tennis, and I would highly recommend him if you are truly passionate about the improvement process.Nov 14, 2018
Rod is amazing and I'm glad to have found him. He's fun, knowledgeable, encouraging, insightful, patient and more. I've learned a lot and Rod does an excellent job not only verbally explaining the techniques, but also with utilizing drills that bring the techniques to life and help my body incorporate them. In sum, if you're looking to improve your game, learn tennis, and have a great time while doing so, look no further.Nov 6, 2018
My son (aged nine) has had lessons with Rod for three years and I have only positive things to say about him. He is consistent and patient and an overall positive teacher. He is observant and methodical and it's a joy to watch my son's tennis skills improve. Lastly, when my son was younger, there were significant focus issues and I always appreciated that Rod never lost his temper and helped him stay the course.Mar 30, 2018

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My services are ala carte. Service prices can and do vary by time of day, venue, level of service(what product), and frequency of services
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? Before and during our initial meeting, I try to assess my new clients goals, fitness, and experience. And then, of course, we discuss and formulate an initial plan of action.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I pride myself in being extremely in tune with the evolution of tennis and training methodology. I am constantly replenishing my tool set by attending on court seminars and conventions to see what else is out there. I take online workshops within my field. I am currently doing the coursework to become a certified expert motion analysis technician. I am writing and actively pursuing the requisites to become certified as a USPTA MASTER PROFESSIONAL. My thesis will be on the coming trend toward Dual-Dominant Training for Elite Tennis Athletes. I will then get certified as an International Sports Science Coach at Sanchez - Casales Academy in Spain.
