Alexa teaches my children riding. She has even taught me when we have the time to spare. I love that she has endless patiene with my children. Sometimes, kids can get stuck on one idea and want to cover it again and again. When this happens she just smiles and keeps talking with them. She has taut my 5 year I,d how to trot. He was scared, but she worked with him in such a wonderful way to make it a natural progression so that he wasn't scared anymore. She works with my 3 year old daughter too. Alexa has a great way of communicating eight the kids, and the kids love her. She has even taught them to love stable chores. She has been a wonderful instructor to my children and I would highly recommend her. The kids can't wait to get back and see Miss Aleya every week and learn from her.

Sacramento Riding School is a place where you will receive thorough and knowledgeable instruction from one of the best. Alicia tunes right in on the student's skill and comfort levels and takes it from there to truly customize instruction, all the while with patience and encouragement and a nudge forward if the time is right. Whether you're just starting out or already riding, English or Western, this is a wonderful place. So glad I found Alicia and her riding school!

Megan is awesome at what she does! No matter your experience level she is able to accommodate riders of all ages. I had not rode a horse since I was about 10, so I was a little nervous, but Megan made it so much fun and eased my nerves! She has several horses that will accommodate riders of all ages.

This barn is a awesome! One of the cleanest barns I have seen, there is always someone there, and the horses all seem very happy and well cared for. I started taking lessons and from the beginning everyone has been welcoming(not the norm I found out). This barn is worth every penny. And Carol is a hoot!

Showing and placing in 1965 as young 5-year old in "equitation" classes, later in the hunters and continuing now to compete in showjumping. Having trained extensively with some of the best in the world such as "Rich Fellers" 2012 Showjumping World Cup champion and Olympic team member, George Morris the hunter/jumper icon of this century to several of the world's elite jumper and dressage riders and clinicians of this century, Clay Jackson passes on this wealth of information in well-executed training program. For those wishing to compete, there are several local "A" circuit to international shows available to participate in. Come join 'Team Jackson" and succeed!

I am a horse trainer. I will come to your facility to help you with your riding skills, horsemanship, and training. I have 23 years experience in training young riders and horses to level II dressage, combined training: training level, and hunter/jumpers (3'6), gaited exhibitions, as well as endurance rides. I have managed facilities and shows, and shown two in hand in driving competitions as well as driven sleigh rides. The basics of horsemanship are similar across the range of riding styles; students love working with me because they learn not only how to ride, but how to understand what is going on and be proactive, so problems don't happen. Horses succeed from patience, understanding and continuity. I teach from basics to finesse like a whisper, if you want to know how to communicate with your horse, so you are a team, then I would love to help you learn.

The intercollegiate riders under my coaching have made it to the regional, zones, and national finals every year to date. My latest endeavor is obtaining a horse show steward license. A horse show steward sometimes also called a rules steward or licensed steward, is a licensed official at a horse show tasked with the responsibility of interpreting and enforcing the rules of the organization that sanctions the horse show. In many organizations, stewards also must submit reports following the show explaining any major rules violations or other information that may be required. The show steward is an individual required to be of the highest ethical standard.
