I felt that my hot water wasn’t as hot as it used to be and wanted to drain and flush my hot water tank. Alex responded quickly and came out the same day. While checking my tank, Alex noticed that the galvanized fitting to the expansion tank was rusting away. After showing me the photo of the problem, he recommended replacing it with a copper fitting and replacing the expansion tank. He was able to do the replacement right there. He also checked the water pressure on the house and recommended replacing the regulator since it was higher than it should be. I deferred that repair since the total for the work done already was more than what I had planned for the tank drain/flush. I am happy that Alex found the rusted fitting- saving me from future leaking and an emergency repair call!
