FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I'd love to set up an appointment to discuss your families needs and dietary preferences. I offer menu samples as well as the flexibility to create your family's favorites. Once we decide on a menu, we set the day, I'll request a deposit to cover food costs. On your day I'll come to your place, cook the meals, package them up family-style with reheating instructions. I'll wash the dishes and you'll be all set to go..
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
have menus but enjoy helping your family replicate favorite recipes. I can work around food preferences. I have worked with clients with health issues. I have been a personal chef for many years. In late 2021 I decided to expand my knowledge and am currently back in school at the LA Mission Culinary program. I work part-time one day a week (Friday) as a chef for Chefs for Seniors. I am fully vaccinated and boosted and wear a mask in other peoples homes.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always loved cooking. I was a stay-at-home mom for many years and always enjoyed feeding my family nutritious and delicious foods. Several years ago a massage therapist friend of mine had a client with health issues who needed someone to cook for her family. We connected and that experience lead me down this path. I really found my passion in cooking for others.
