Introduction: I am good at what I do, and i love what I do. I teach riders great balance and how to communicate effectively with their horse. I teach riders how to ride with techniques they can transfer to any horse. My core philosophy is safety first; we achieve safety through balance and leadership. I am a USEA certified instructor and an approved pony club riding center! I get to be outdoors all day, play with horses, and teach others about riding and horsemanship.

I started taking lessons with Susan after about 3 month of lessons at another barn and I am very happy. In one lesson she taught me to do what the other place couldn't in a month. If you want to learn, grow and get better, this is your place. Highly recommend.

Susan is awesome. She's very kid friendly and has a way of relating to her clients both young and not so young. She has a great personality and is very versed in knowledge of running her stable and all types of lessons. She and her stable is the perfect match for us and we plan to be there as long as my daughter has the interest oin learno by to ride properly

My children and I started lessons with Susan just over a year ago, and love it so much we recently bought our own pony to board at Goldspirit. The family atmosphere at the barn is wonderful and we all have made many new friends. The kids really look forward to the Pony Club sessions and participating with other kids who also love horses. I've been amazed by how much we've all learned in such a short time. That is certainly a credit to Susan and her teaching methods. As a boarding facility, it is also top notch. Our pony never had it so good. We love Goldspirit!

I've worked and taken lessons at multiple barns since I moved to Los Angeles two years ago. GSF has become my home away from home. The facility is amazing (not at all what you would expect in Los Angeles). It's not just the wonderful instruction and dedicated trainer that I learn so much from, but the boarders and barn staff have become family in a way to me. Everyone greeted me with smiles when I first arrived and everyone wants to see everyone riding their best and having fun. The entire environment is about discovering improvement for both horses and people. I'm so excited it's now a Pony Club riding center as well. PC'er's need a great facility like GSF with xcountry in Los Angeles. The horses receive the best care in Los Angeles here my opinion, with the full gallop track, large turnout and staff and riders that are taught horse management and attention to detail.

always! I continue to ride with top instructors; I read, and I constantly learn by teaching others.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I always loved horses and I had an opportunity to purchase a farm and live my dream. Who would not want to do that?!
What types of customers have you worked with?
Teach horseback riding....at all levels. Train horses...at all levels. As a certified ICP USEA instructor my training has a great foundation and is based on safety, respect for the horse and rider, and having fun!
