FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first thing we do once someone calls us to take a look at a project is begin to learn what their needs and concerns are for their project. Each client and project has a different set of needs and we really take the time to understand this and fulfill these needs and alleviate any concerns. In doing this, it helps us set up a clear expectation for our clients and potential clients. We believe that communication is key to a successful project. We keep an open line of communication to our clients throughout the entirety of every project. At the start of every project, we send out an email with a link to progress photos that our clients can look at everyday to see the progress that's being made. We understand that you may not always be around to keep an eye on things so we make it possible to do so wherever you are at. Our phones are always on. There's hardly ever a time that you won't be able to get a hold of someone. At the end of every project, we walk the entirety of it with our clients to get their/your final approval. We try to make the entire process seamless and easy and do our best to help in any way that we can.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in the painting business since I was 8 years old working with my father. I have been doing it ever since. Throughout that process I have been trained in interior and exterior finishes of all kinds along with caulkings, fillers, patching compounds, primers. Other trades I've been trained in include carpentry, stucco and drywall along with all tools associated with these trades. I passed a 30 hour OSHA safety course. I am lead and asbestos certified by the state of California. On the office side, I have been trained in Microsoft Office, G-Suite and Dropbox.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was just 8 years old my father would take me on jobs with him during the summer when I was out of school. This is how we were able to spend a lot of time together and bond. Because of that opportunity, it gave me such a head start on everyone. I have been able to take all of the experience I acquired throughout that time and turn it into what is Painting Cali.
