My advice is too do your homework on the contactors. Make sure they are licensed, bonded and insured. Ask them for references. when it comes to hiring a designer, make sure they have been properly schooled in the trade. Either with experience from working at a firm or through an accredited college or university. Interior design is a skill that not anyone can perform, not only does it require and artistic eye, but the ability to meld with many personality types.
