FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Connect via email then phone to talk about what they need. Set an appt for a shoot date/time/place. Shoot! I upload the edited images online for first view. Client picks their top 5 for minor retouching. I re-upload and client orders prints or digital files.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Art/Design degree from Loyola Marymount. Many years of hands-on training in front of and in back of the lens.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I began capturing images of families on the beach and actor’s headshots in 1997, then graduated to commercial lifestyle shoots and stock photography. In constant “learning mode” I went back to school for graphic design (which helps with retouching!) and then was cast as the Photographer/Host of a TV show on HGTV and DIY called “The Whole Picture.” I taught photography basics and Photoshop to viewers all over the world, then expanded my business to education in books, videos, online training, and live presentations.
