Max initially contacted us himself because he suspected water damage under his home. He reported visible signs of buckling floors and moisture — concerns that we took seriously from the beginning. After inspecting the property, our team identified several risk areas, including signs of mold and trapped moisture. To ensure full transparency, we sent samples to a licensed, independent third-party laboratory — not affiliated with us — and those results confirmed elevated mold levels inside the home. In addition, Max’s own plumber independently confirmed that there was active leakage and moisture under his flooring, further supporting our findings. The total invoice was $3,373, of which $800 went directly to the lab for testing. The remaining $2,573 covered the actual mold remediation work, which was focused specifically on the most urgent areas to reduce cost and provide relief. We worked with Max every step of the way — even when it became clear that his insurance policy excluded both mold and water damage, we offered a generous discount and continued the work with good faith and understanding.
