Working with Gary was fantastic. When I contacted him for a "little project" with a "little budget" his response was "let's see what we can do". I know from experience that clients who indicate their project is "little" means it's going to be the biggest pain ever! Gary went with the flow the whole time! The project was a picture montage and Gary even learned who folks were in the pictures to make it easier for us to discuss the project. He was so responsive in every way email, text, phone. He made suggestions about the artwork I never would have thought of and was truthful when I asked for something that he thought wouldn't work - and he told me why, which I really appreciate. I would work with Gary again in a heartbeat! The artwork he created will be posted AFTER the gift is given (it's branded so I don't want it floating out there in the world until it's been revealed). I recently contracted Lord Helvetica Designs to create a website with SEO and branding for a blog I am doing. Gary did an excellent job for me. He was easy going, very quick to respond and he explained the details about how the site worked as well as expectations. I will definitely use Lord Helvetica Designs for future projects. I love to dive in and find out who you and your business is first. Then get into details about the project, the timeline, and what your expectations are.
I treat my clients like family and I am always transparent with my pricing and my practices.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from the Art Institute of Los Angeles with a Bachelors and continually do online training with websites like Udemy.com to grow my skills.
I am one of few designers that not only does print, but also web, and also video and animation. I get bored easy :)
