Introduction: My interest in Hypnosis began in 1979. I entered an internship in 1984 and began practice 1985.
I've been a member of the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners and have been certified by Gil Boyne as a Hypnotherapist, a title which requires over 300 hours of class and minimum 3 years private practice.
I have practiced in the field of Hypnotherapy for 35 years.
My practice is only in my office or your location, which allows personal interaction. Remote by telephone or Skype insufficiently communicates, as subtle body language and response to non-verbal queues is more important thank speaking. Please don't request remote therapy, as I have found it to be wasted time and money.
I've worked with clients who have not been successful prior to meeting me. Some of those clients found success with me in Stop Smoking, Teeth Grinding, Migraine, Post Traumatic Stress, Rape/incest. Physical issues such as Fibromyalgia, and Dermatology has been improved with these therapy processes.
Some people who have been successful have prior treatment by Dentists for TMJ, treatment by Psychiatrists for depression, and treatment by Psychologists for anxiety. Doctors who had prescribed the upper limits of depression meds and sleep medication for Fibromyalgia have referred their patients to me.
It's wonderful to see the reliance on medications be reduced or totally eliminated.
The practice of Hypnotherapy can be complementary to all current care by Medical Doctors, Psychiatry and Psychologists.
Pain applications can be trained so to use the mind to reduce the pain experienced with degenerative spine disease and other chronic pain issues.
Patients as young as 6 years old have had their bed-wetting stopped in as few as 3 sessions. The youngest child I have worked with was age 5.
Anger outbursts in children, experiencing divorce can be addressed. Their need to feel safe in the divorce split can be very important to them as they continue their psychological and emotional development.
The oldest person I have worked with was 82, a woman who was not able to eat as much as she needed and was on a continual loss of weight. This person needed to take just a few extra bites at every meal. This could sound simple, that it should have occurred without hypnosis, but the weight loss was a significant concern as her weight was approaching 90 lbs.
I have worked successfully with people from age 6 to age 82 with a wide variety of needs. These needs once met helped them to have a more enjoyable life.
I like to see people who cannot find a solution, find their solution.
If the Medical Doctor can't find the cause for a Migraine or sleeplessness, or fibromyalgia... I love to give that solution.
If someone has Post-Partum Depression and they are not as happy as they used to be, I like to remind them of the joy they had, and with Hypnotherapy allow the redirection to their happiness.
If someone is busting their molars with teeth grinding, I like to hear they are sleeping with ease and comfort.
I like my job, all of it.
