Introduction: My name is Justin. I have been personal training since I was 21. I have been in the field of fitness all my life. Participating in all types of sports including baseball, basketball, football, and wrestling. I am also certified as a fitness nutrition specialist and corrective exercise specialist. My sessions generally consist of a 5-10 minute warm up, a 45-50 minute workout, and a 5-10 minute corrective exercise routine or cool down. I include a personalized meal plan as well as workouts to be used when training on your own. I have had many different clients with different types of goals and would love to help you reach yours. My favorite thing about this business is getting to know the individual and getting them results. I love the people more than anything and when someone achieves results they become more into fitness and start living a healthier lifestyle!

Justin is by far the best trainer I have ever had, and I’ve hired quite a few. His attention to detail is impeccable and he can modify anything you need if you have injuries. I have a very bad knee and have lost mobility because of it. He never once let it stop me and if anything, I feel a lot stronger. I wished I lived in the area to continue training and would refer anyone to him if they want results.

Training with Justin was a wonderful experience. Some background: Working out has never been a priority. Strength training does not not come natural to me and quite frankly, it’s my least favorite thing to do on earth. I consider myself to have an active lifestyle: hiking, backcountry backpacking, biking, snowboarding, golfing, rock climbing. However, now that I’ve entered my 40’s, my body does not respond to outdoors activities the way it used to and physical results are slim to none. Additionally, I have severe asthma and a history of lower back issues, therefore it’s important to train w/ someone who understands physiology and health conditions. After 30 sessions of incredibly patient and detailed assessments and coaching from Justin, my lower back pain disappeared, I started to gain the muscle definition that I was seeking and my posture was corrected. I can say with certainty that the sessions w/ Justin became something that I looked forward to during my frantic 12 hr work days. The reason why I’m not continuing our training is because we’re relocating out of state. Appreciate you, Justin and thank you for putting up w/ me! Until we meet again!

In addition to all the things you’d expect from working out with a trainer- them being on time, professional, helping you stay motivated and achieve great results, etc., Justin makes working out fun! The workouts are dynamic and interesting, and I actually look forward to them. In a very short amount of time, I was impressed by my increase in strength and stamina, and I noticed a huge improvement in my mood. The pandemic had me in a funk, and these workouts really helped pull me out of it. I noticed results without changing my diet, but when I added in Justin’s nutritional recommendations, I really got to where I wanted to be without any calorie counting or drama. I have worked out with some fancy trainers in Manhattan that cost 2-3x more, and were not close to as good. I highly recommend working with Justin and consider it an investment in myself and my well being!

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    During my first session I want to learn about my clients goals and previous injuries. I also try to find out what the client likes and doesn’t like in terms of exercise, if you are not having fun you are not gonna stick with it, and fitness is a lifestyle, nobody achieves results overnight. Then I run a couple of fitness assessments to see where the client is currently at in terms of fitness. Then after a quick workout I will talk about nutrition and a game plan for the month. The first 30 day are crucial and will truly determine your success.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I am NASM certified and working on my nutrition certification and my performance enhancement certification. I have been in sports all my life. Fitness and strength training is my passion, and I love helping people achieve there best selves.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

    I have worked with all types of clients but specialize in athletes, kids, and people looking to lose weight.
