the gentleman that came out was very nice and professional and was on time. We asked him to look at our shower which had no hot water, which he did, and submitted a bid for $1000 to replace a hot water cartridge to fix the problem. We went to YouTube, which showed us how to remove the faucet, only to find the cartridge was not defective but rather on backwards. We fixed the problem in ten minutes at no cost. I would definitely get a couple of bids before having this company do an expensive repair or just go to YouTube.

I think their price was high but we got our water heater replaced on Sunday, the following day after the plumber came to look at the old tank. The crew was efficient and did a good job.

I was very disappointed in the service we received from Coachella Valley Plumbing and Heating. The technician was supposed to arrive between 12 and 2. At 11:30 he sent a text saying he was running late. At almost 5 pm he reached out to see if he could come on Sunday between 12 and 2. We agreed and he didn't show up until almost 3. He did not quote the job and did a small part of the job and then asked for $500. There was no previous discussion from the owner about how to pay and the tech wanted us to Zelle him the money. We didn't know if we were supposed to pay the tech or if the money should go to the company. We ended up writing a check to the company and decided to let them work it out. Apparently, the tech was an independent sub that the owner hires to do work. From start to finish this was a disappointing experience. My first time using Thumbtack and I was not happy. This Coachella Valley Plumbing needs to get their stuff together. Not a good representation of Thumbtack.
