Debra is unequivocally one of the top stylists I have had the pleasure to work with. Debra has a deep understanding of fashion and style and an innate sense of what will work on each individual’s body to accentuate the best features as well as how to draw attention away from a person’s “problem areas”. She understands proportion and fit and my experience working with her has helped me edit my wardrobe to the best pieces and to see how I can work those pieces in different ways than I had thought of myself. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer a step-by-step, effective styling experience so you don’t waste money (not to mention hours) on the wrong pieces. It all starts with listening to your personal needs, what’s coming up for you, your style struggles, and what you are hoping to accomplish. I help you get in touch with what you most desire and want for yourself, because this really impacts your style. This is a very important step in my process. We can become overwhelmed not feeling confident, confused about what it is that we truly want, I will help you get to that real desire. From there, everything blossoms. Working with me means you will feel seen and heard because we go deep. I bring over 30 years’ experience in fashion, styling, costume design. Plus, in depth knowledge of human nature, color analysis, psychology, somatic experiencing, embodiment practices and holistic health and wellness. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 31 years of experience working on music videos, commercials, fashion editorial and film. My areas of expertise include costume design, styling, fashion editorial, and designing clothes. Through my experience working on commercials and film, I have worked with all types of people and many different body types. Through styling, I tell stories, create characters, and help clients express their authentic, true nature.
