- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes. I went to film school and graduated in 2012. I also trained at Clairmont Camera in Hollywood to learn about custom lenses and gear. I'm returning to my artform with a new vision and an expanded perspective of image creation.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was commuting to FIT in NYC because my University wasn't really an art school and I wanted some of the artsy experiences. I had a photo styling class and I loved both the styling and the photography part. That made me love advertising and concept development and then I met a guy from J. Walter Thompson and we started going out. He use to include me in his work. I sat with him while he brainstormed concepts and I shot photography for a few of his ads. He also taught me to be an expert photoshop technician. It just grew from there.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
On location event shooting is more common. But now I have a studio since Feb. 2015 so it will be interesting to see where my work goes.
