FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At CrackJack Handyman, we’re committed to providing affordable, fair, and transparent pricing — without compromising on quality. Because every project is different, we don’t use fixed hourly rates or one-size-fits-all pricing by trade. Each job may require different skills, tools, and materials, and we tailor our quotes to reflect that. To keep things simple and budget-friendly, we provide a clear, no-obligation quote before scheduling any work. This quote outlines the exact scope of the job, so you know exactly what to expect — with no hidden fees or surprises. We do charge a $125 initial assessment fee to book your initial assessment appointment. But don’t worry, we’ll happily WAIVE THIS FEE if you decide to hire us for the job!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Upon receipt of a service request, we promptly reach out to the client to arrange a meeting for the initial evaluation of the forthcoming project. Subsequently, the client will be furnished with a quotation for the impending work via email. Upon the client's acceptance of the estimate, a date and time will be fixed for the commencement of the project (typically within 1-3 days). Following the successful execution of the project, the client will be issued an invoice with the choice to settle on the spot or online.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelor's degree in engineering, licensed general contractor, IICRC certified water damage restoration technician.
