FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes. $125 for the initial service call. I will assess the situation and give you a couple of options. If you choose to use me for the job , I .deduct the service fee off of my final price. No need to pay twice.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Since my company is new , and I'm a single dad I have very little savings so I usually will ask for money up front. Half mostly. Usually 2/3 of my price is material. Then when the job is done I ask for the balance. However there are the times where something unforeseen happens that's not part of the scope. Most of the time I will just handle the issue with no charge but if it hours to fix then I have to charge the extra fee, which varies but is fair for both parties and agreed upon.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
27 years as a union journeyman plumber, 5 years of trade school. Various classes such as blueprint reading, plan drawing, welding, etc etc. Im an artist at heart with a mechanical background , so ever since I can remember Ive always had some kind of project in the works. General contracting on the side for friends while working for a plumbing/general contractor (union since 87) mostly commercial work, but the last 4-5 years has been 95% houses .
