After having two TERRIBLE Experiences with the first 3 people I hired off of thumbtack, I was literally desperate to find someone I could trust to not rip me off and could get the job done. Then Steven came to my rescue! I'm so thankful that I found him and I simply cannot say enough good things about him!
He's a man of many trades. The original job was repairing all of my interior doors and my interior baseboards/casings- so he took all the doors home with him on the same day as our consultation to be sanded down, repaired and re sprayed. He removed and replaced about 40 feet of baseboard in the condo (which turned out great!). Not only did he do a fantastic job with those initial jobs, but he ended up being able to do many other jobs for me while he was here too! He replaced my showerhead and tub spout, added a handheld shower fixture, repaired a broken Tv stand, retextured multiple areas of damaged wall, switched out some of my outlet receptacles with new USB receptacles, fixed two other outlets that weren't working at all for the last couple years, replaced my smoke detectors, and helped me repaint my bedroom, living room, and kitchen. He was FAST, efficient, friendly, and his overall work was done very well. This guy knows exactly what he's doing and will not leave until he knows the job is done- and done right! Even if that means he ends up losing money in the end- he isn't one of those contractors who quotes you a price and it ends up being double. He stands by his initial quote and that is something that very few contractors do!
My only mistake was not hiring him to do the entire job. I thought that hiring two different contractors would help in getting what I needed done completed in a shorter amount of time. Well, I was wrong. The other guy did a half-assed job on his part, which resulted in me needing to hire Steven to come back and repair the other guys work in the end.

I hired Steve to put in some shower doors for me. Although my bathrooms were not perfect for the type of doors i was installing, Steve made it work and did a great job. He also cleaned up after he was done and left my place with no mess whatsoever. Def recommend him for any project you might have.
