Red Carpet Cookies offers high-quality, custom desserts, including wedding/specialty cakes and dessert bars. I also provide on-site chef services, whether in your own home, an Air B&B, hotel or yacht. We provide full service and can arrange for table decor, linens, flowers and any rentals. Everything tastes homemade because we still use the recipes we use at home. If there’s something specific you’d like, we can almost certainly do it. We use all-natural ingredients; if your grandmother wouldn't recognize it, then we don't use it.

Chef Marianne was fabulous and I would hire her again for another event. We had her prepare a special dinner for my sister's 60th birthday for 20 people. She prepared an extra special meal which catered to several dietary restrictions and allergies. Her professional and personal manner was perfect, as was the excellent meal which added to the overall lovely, intimate special birthday. Thank you thank you thank you. We will definitely hire her again. 12 out of 10!!!

Marianne was EXCELLENT!! I gave her an unusual challenge and she surpassed my expectations. My mom has a rare condition that causes her to be allergic to just about everything. It's been a tough adjustment on everyone because we didn't know what to feed her. She eats the same thing everyday. I wanted to surprise my mom with a four course allergy-friendly dinner for her 50th birthday, and Marianne was able to make it a reality! She started with some hors d'oeuvres. She made a black bean and corn dip with chips and some seasoned nuts which was very tasty! Next we moved to the appetizer which was a very yummy chicken broth soup which my mom loved! For the main dinner, we had Alaskan King Crab with some sides of edamame and the cranberry dip. The crab was soooooo good! She found a vegan butter for the crab and we loved it so much we went out and bought it the next day! And finally for dessert, she made some vegan peppermint ice cream which is my mom's FAVORITE! Marianne also provided everything to decorate the table including silverware. She was completely prepared and calm which really helped me because I was so nervous lol. Marianne and I had also been working on a special recipe book full of allergy-friendly meals for my mom. We finally have ideas for new food for her! It took about 8 months of communication and preparation for this to all come together but it was completely worth it. On top of Marianne being a wizard in the kitchen, she's also really genuine and easy to get along with. Her and my mom have a lot of interests in common so as a bonus we also made a friend :) Thanks again Marianne for all your hard work, my mom said this was the best birthday ever 🫶🏻

I made a request for a cake with a different baker a week before my party. The night before, she informed me that her ovens were down and she couldn't fix them in time to bake my cake. I reached out to other bakers and Marianne agreed to make my cake. She made my cake the day of the party, with a morning's notice. She delivered it too, a three tiered cake with three flavors and some embellishments. It was amazing and I'm so happy. I'll definitely be hiring her for future parties. Thanks Marianne!

Marianne, from Red Carpet Cookies, was beyond amazing in every way! We found her with very little time to put together an order for my daughter’s wedding cake, and Marianne not only responded back immediately, but truly was a Godsend for us. She went above and beyond with helping us create exactly the vision we had for the cake, but also gave us an amazing contact for a florist as well. Marianne hand delivered the cake AND set it up decoratively on our table as well as providing a beautiful cake dish and serving set! Now for the really important review… this cake was THE BEST cake we have ever tasted! Incredibly moist and a buttercream to die for! Marianne was truly the most professional, honest, and kindest person. We were truly BLESSED to have found her❤️

Cakes start at $7 per person plus delivery. Meals run $50-150 per person plus travel if outside the San Fernando Valley.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started baking when I was three. I went to culinary school 10 years ago and opened my business in 2013.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Many brides! I also provide desserts for other caterers and restaurants, as well as corporations, nonprofits, universities and schools. My private chef work focuses on small parties - 2 to 20. I bring everything when required, including china and table decor.
