We are really grateful to have paired up with Thomas. He is incredibly professional, yet approachable; he handled our requests with a lot of grace. He was calm and patient with us despite our severe lack of dancing experience, and was really understanding with our several mistakes. He made what I thought would be a horrible experience into a very pleasurable one. Thanks so much for being SO patient with us! Its not every day that ones find a teacher like Thomas - not only does he have deep and extensive knowledge of all types of dance and an acute awareness of body movement, but he is able to translate that knowledge and awareness into excellent instruction. His syllabus is organized and thorough, and I am able to see myself progressing in a big way. I am confident that he is of the best in LA, and I feel blessed to have found him!
All else aside… our lessons are a lot of fun and I always leave smiling. If you want to learn a ton and have a blast while doing it, Thomas is your guy!!!

My fiance and I are were trying to pull together a first dance to a rather difficult and fast-paced song, and Thomas took the time before our lesson to research the various types of country-style dances that could go with it. When we got to the lesson, he was very welcoming and put us at ease (neither of us know how to dance!) and over the course of an hour, made us feel confident that we could pull this off if we practiced. When either of us was having trouble with a move, he was impressively adept at identifying the misunderstanding and clarifying, which is something one always hopes for when it comes to lessons but seemingly rare to actually get! Last but not least, he gave us a recording of the various dance moves and poses that we could refer back to when practicing - awesome foresight! Thomas is a great dance teacher, would definitely recommend!!! :)

Thomas was more than a professional, he's a craftsman. My fiancee and I needed to learn a waltz for our first dance. We found Thomas on thumbtack. He informed us that the waltz we were interested in was a Viennese--not easy. But, we wanted to make it happen, and so did he. Over nine sessions in eight weeks, he designed an artistic, thought-out number that would (almost) rival anything on Dancing with the Stars. And, thanks to Thomas, our first dance will be one of the true highlights of our nuptials.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Intro lessons are offered at $90; this gives you a chance to visit the studio and see if my teaching style is right for you. Continuing is entirely up to you!
I also offer various packages for weddings and event preparation.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I begin by asking several questions about you, your goals, and previous dance experience. I will also figure out how you learn (listening, visualizing, or physically moving)
