Linda has been the piano teacher of my 2 sisters and me for over 10 years. She is a remarkable person that focuses on a student's strengths and helps them to become the best they can be. She teaches us how to read and analyze music rather than to just memorize notes. I highly recommend her as a piano teacher.

Linda is an excellent piano teacher. What sets her apart from other teachers is that she has developed a method which breaks down the process of music reading and theory so that it can be understood, digested and used as students progress. In addition, Linda is extremely patient, positive, and makes the experience of learning fun. I highly recommend her!

Linda is a devoted and thoughtful piano teacher. She has a well-thought-out reason for assigning every piece, and is very attentive to her student's progress. Our student has been learning from her for two years and is playing a wide variety of styles, from classics to blues and modern pieces, and he sounds pretty sophisticated for a 2-year student. Finally, Linda's recitals are very special affairs at which her students, even beginners, are treated to sharing the program with accomplished professional musicians, which gives a beginner a concrete demonstration of what can be done with music education.

I have always wanted to be a teacher. I've been studying and playing the piano since the early 1960s. Being a piano teacher was the perfect career for me. I enjoy working with students of all ages and levels. It's inspiring to create musicians for our community.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Individual piano lessons are available for both the serious and recreational student. Pastimes for a Lifetime has prepared artists and pianists for pastimes they can enjoy for a lifetime, professional schools or careers of their own.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Having an acoustic piano is preferred. However, an electronic keyboard with 88 fully-weighted keys is acceptable. The youngest piano students I teach are 7 – 8 years old. A free consultation is recommended for students younger than 7 years.
