Introduction: The C.L.A.S.S. self-defense program is a quality and unique program for children, giving them the tools to escape danger and flee to safety. They are empowered with both proactive and physical techniques to fight back without a false sense of security. Role playing is incorporated into the program for children to sense the realization of danger. Women taking the Onna Musha (woman warrior) sessions will feel empowered with specific techniques against attackers. I have been a credentialed Physical Education teacher for over 40 years and love working with children. It is my hope that all children will be empowered to fight back when needed and to be safe. Children need to know how to be more aware of their surroundings and know how and when to get help. This is the proactive techniques of my program. Children also need to know how to fight back physically when grabbed but also need to know to never grab that hand, go near a car they don't know, where to go for help and what to say when asking for help.
