Hi I’m Tisa,
I’ve been working in the animal care industry for 15+ years. My love for dogs started at the age of 7, when I first started my dog walking business. Then at the age of 10, I learned how to train dogs by assisting my good friend who was a dog trainer. I wanted to expand my knowledge about dogs and went to academy for dog grooming. I feel in love with grooming from the moment I put on my smock and rounded those cute little paws. I love creating new looks that pups can feel confident and the pet parents can show off.

Tisa was lovely and did a great job with my dog. My pup really liked her. She was on time, very sweet and worked faster than I expected considering my dog had some matting. I definitely recommend! Thanks Tisa!

Yesterday, was Tisa and my first appt. (I already scheduled Eloise’s next grooming.) The appointment started w a getting to know each other. Not me and Tisa~ Eloise and Tish. Her graciousness, care and expertise was joyful to experience. Eloise was embarrassingly matted. Tisa designed her approach to get the best results keeping Eloise’s comfort foremost. I waited in my yard~ Tisa came out to explain to me everything she was doing to delete the matting.
Eloise happy. Mama happy.
Tisa made that happen.
Lest I forget to tell you~ Eloise is 17 years old. She’s in excellent healthy and now the prettiest senior on the block.

I’ve been searching for a groomer for my little Luigi since January and I am so happy to say I now have a wonderful permanent groomer !! it was so nice to have her come to our home to make things calmer for our baby and no kennels with other dogs behind some door at petco ! thanks again Tisa ! Most amazing groomer ever ! Don’t hesitate to hire her she did an amazing time ! She took time and made sure that my dog pearl was comfortable as it was her first groom. She took it slow and did an amazing job even when pearl wasn’t cooperating

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was hired as the head dog trainer at a private grooming salon in West Hollywood. I was asked to bathe dogs in the salon when I wasn’t training. I fell in love with the endless ways you could be creative as a groomer and find functional and fashionable ways to trim a dogs hair !
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Please have an open mind when you share your style idea of the cut you would like. Not every dog looks good with the same haircut style due to the different body structure and coat type. Have photos of the haircut style you would like and be open to suggestions.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Has the dog(s) ever been groomed before and if so, how often (every 2 weeks, once a month, every 6 weeks, etc)?
Does your dog have any allergies or special conditions you know of ( seizures, heart murmurs, hear attacks, cataracts, etc.)?
Is your dog on any medication? If so, do you have a signed note from a vet saying your dog is ok to be groomed while on medication ?
Can your dog stand for long periods of time?
What age and coat type is your dog?
Do you brush your dog regularly?
