Our small company needed a quality website built quickly. I had spoken with several designers and found their quotes and information to be all over the place. After speaking with Danny, I came away with a much more secure feeling a decided to go with him. Two weeks after hiring Danny to design the site he presented us with his concept of the site and we were very pleased with the quality of his work. I hope words can express how grateful I am with the work and experience I have working with Danny. I was in desperate need of completing a site for our Launch with only days left to meet the deadline. Danny has been a life saver, He not only assisted me with the work I needed but was extremely understanding to all the mistakes my previous developers had made. He worked with me and my budget. He kept communication throughout the project regularly and made sure things were getting done correctly. He is extremely knowledgeable in code and development, and was able to find and fix many issues that were not even to my knowledge, but obviously needed to be fixed. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For contracts below 1,000.00 I require a full payment upfront. For anything over I setup a payment plan which consist of 1/3rd up front, and at the conclusion of making a mockup of the design, then the rest once it's been implemented and tested thoroughly.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I would have them fill out a client questionnaire which consist of questions regarding aesthetics, comparable sites you liked, etc.. Then I give them a exact quote and contract. With most clients I only require 1/3rd up front, then the rest based upon milestones.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a developer who works on a multitude of open source projects actively. I have a Masters in Web Design from Academy of Art San Francisco. My Undergrad degree is in Computer Science from University of Maryland. I received additional education from the U.S Army and have been doing this for 13+ years professionally outside of the Military.
