I hired David for our wedding reception and he was a hit! He was very professional and our guests loved their drawings. He provides plastic covers so the drawings stay protected the remainder of the night. With about 15 minutes left of his original hired time, he found my husband and I and said he wanted to draw us. Some family members were waiting to be drawn as well. I asked David if we could pay him an extra hour to get the ones who were waiting as well and he did without a problem. He also added our reception theme ‘Happily Ever After Party’ to each drawing.

David made our Christmas party so special and memorable!!!! He was amazing to have there. He sketched and chatted with people as they posed, making them feel comfortable and natural. He is so easy to have around!! I was busy in the kitchen and he just did his thing! Everyone LOVED this keepsake!!!!! Thank you David!! Will def have you again!!

We hired Dave for a two-hour event, and he was absolutely fantastic! He was incredibly professional, punctual, and so friendly with all our guests. Seriously so kind and talented. We had an amazing experience! We hired him for my son’s 4th birthday and he was a huge hit. Each child got their picture drawn as a keepsake. He was very sweet and professional, great with kids.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I prefer to keep it straightforward an charge time & material. However, I am open to
other approaches? (i.e. charging per sq/ft).
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
When and if I can afford it, I would like to get a masters degree (MFA) in illustrations.
For now, I try to learn from other artists.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I had many wonderful mentors growing up. One of them, once owned a sign painting business and I learned how to work large from him (as a muralist).
