- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing system is not complicated. It all depends on the case you have and is outlined clearly in our attorney-client agreement. Generally I charge on a two-tiered system. The first tier includes all work and motions prior to trial (includes the DMV hearing in DUI trials) and the second tier is payment for a trial if the case makes it that far. I also ask my clients to pay any large expenses (beyond small printing jobs and general office overhead) such as private investigator or expert fees.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I participate in continuing education classes and focus on problems surrounding criminal justice such as forensics, DUIs, and addiction problems.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I love helping people. I also know how frustrating and scary the criminal justice system is and how it can take advantage of people who aren't represented by a zealous attorney. I take pride in being a zealous attorney who protects his clients from the system.
