Truth? I couldn’t have gotten more lucky in hiring Don. Brand name contractors wanted to come in here for the repairs on my shed and charge me $1 million. Finding a semi-retired 40 year journeyman carpenter that has probably forgotten more about framing, leveling, mitering and where studs are and where studs go than most other self-professed “carpenters” know was just a lucky gift to myself, found on Thumbtack. I was actually looking forward to writing this review, because I’m pretty sure this man isn’t an aggressive marketer; he just knows his own craft inside and out. I could say a bunch more with all honesty, but I will just leave it at that so not to sound too grandiose. Thank you, Thumbtack, and thank you, Don Rieux!

I contacted this company and he responded immediately. He knew that I needed the work done before a certain date and so he prioritize my project. He did a fabulous job as I needed to make an open space into a bedroom. I also wanted to put in a barn door, whichthe room needed to be retrofitted in order to support the frame. I would definitely hire Don and his workers again.

I had an excellent experience with Kangarieux Framing! Donald reached out to me promptly after I submitted a quote request for replacing the rotting wood on the front rails of my house. From the very start, he was polite, compassionate, and made sure I understood exactly what would be replaced. That following Saturday, Don arrived and treated my mom’s home with the utmost respect. She absolutely adored him and Leon for their kindness and professionalism. Don brought everything needed and worked tirelessly throughout the day, even staying until 9 PM to ensure the job was completed with precision which he completed within two days. Not only did they take their time to replace everything thoroughly, but they also went above and beyond when I asked if they could replace the light fixture and house numbers.
