About
Hello, my name is Braelen, I'm a Watsonville-based tuner at home in living rooms, concert halls, churches and recording studios. As an audio engineer, filmmaker and musician, I bring studio-quality tuning with a player-first ear.
I specialize in Steinway and Yamaha pianos, and I take that level of quality service to every piano I work on. Whether you have a spinet or a concert grand, your piano deserves the utmost precision and attention to detail that is attainable at home or in the concert halls.
I provide standard tunings, pitch raises, action adjustment and regulation, voicing, and repair services. If you have any questions about what service is right for your piano, we can decide what is best.
I have tuned for SFUSD, concert pianists, music teachers, and both business and private clients. I apprenticed with a master technician in Northern California to learn my trade.

Braelen was so wonderful and amazing. There were some issues that made him have to wait up to 30 minutes in order to work on the piano, but he was an amazing sport and wondered about us and if we were okay. Once he got working on the piano it was amazing, he explained everything showing his knowledge and did a fantastic job on the piano making it sound elegant as he played a beautiful Mozart piece. If anyone wants to get their pianotuned, there is no one better than Addison pianotuning and you won’t regret it.

Our Yamaha upright piano was out of tune and had unison issues (a noticeable buzzing/wobble on the high notes). We contacted Braelen, who correctly diagnosed the problem and performed the necessary Pitch Raise and Fine-Tuning service. The quality of the work is excellent! The piano is now perfectly back to Concert Pitch and sounds stable, clear, and bright. We highly recommend Braelen for any piano that needs professional, precise tuning beyond just a standard touch-up. Great communication and truly high-quality craftsmanship.
