About

Jim has been playing piano since 1981. By 1983 Jim was writing songs. By 1991 Jim moved to California. By 1993 Jim was working at Nickelodeon. In 1998 Steve Hillenburg asked me to co-write the theme song for SpongeBob Squarepants. By 2014 I was promoted to head the Production Operations & Technology for Nickelodeon/Paramount In 2025 I was impacted by corp layoffs. Throughout all of the years I have been in and out of bands. I have never stopped song-writing, and practice ear training everyday. And here I am today. Ready to teach you.
