About

I have over 5 years of experience personally tutoring students of all ages--from elementary school to grad students studying for professional exams! As a recent UCLA undergrad, I also have first hand being a student and understand the various ways students can learn to be successful. My students are my friends, and I will make sure I help them improve so they can reach their goals! I really enjoy tutoring because knowledge is a gift you give for a lifetime, and there is no substitute for it! I like to make learning fun by coming up with interesting mnemonics, and cool ways to learn the same material so it stays in the student's long-term memory instead of short-term memory! Learning should be fun :)

We looked around and our daughter really liked Sarah after we all met her. Our daughter is extremely happy with Sarah who is patient, warm, caring and takes the time to explain anything that our daughter needs help on: from a subject matter to a particular question. Sarah will work extra hours if needed and also will answer questions by test, email or calls if necessary. Her biggest strength is her patience, warmth and making sure that the Subject Matter is clearly explained and understood by the student as my daughter in a clear manner. She has been a boon to our daughter's study in mathematics and improvement.

Sarah helped my son to pass his Algebra M03 class at Moorpark College after failing the first time. My son struggled with math in high school and generally has an aversion to the subject. We hired Sarah and he not only passed but earned a B grade! Sarah is very kind and considerate and cares about her students. We will be using her again.
