From the start, Cynthia shines brightly. Prior to our consult, she showed that she took my product's security first and foremost. Additionally, she took the time to review the material sent to her, and while I did not hear the answers I was wanting to hear, she was thoughtful in her responses and helpful in providing alternate avenues in which I might use my product. Thank you Cynthia for your input and guidance.

Answered all my questions! I am not a patent expert, but Cynthia provided general guidance at a very, very reasonable cost. 6 out of 5 stars for sure!

Time very well spent. I received specific advice on how to make my product patentable. I will definitely return to Cynthia when I've incorporated the changes AND refer all my inventor colleagues her way. THANK YOU!!

As a Principal Hardware Engineer for the #1 company in the world I work with outside IP counsel on a weekly basis. I've rarely been impressed with the ability that most patent attorneys, that I've worked with, display in being able to comprehend, breakdown and explain my inventions; let alone their poor responsiveness. Lamon is one of those "diamond in the rough" organizations that is not only ultra responsive and never allows information to fall through the cracks, but they dig deep to obtain a thorough understanding of your invention. Armed with this in-depth understanding, they proceed to decompose it quite elegantly, but most importantly, in such a fashion that really captures the scope and essence of your invention. In doing so, your invention becomes clear, understandable and protection worthy if it ever comes to it. They're really good.

Cynthia is knowledge, extremely kind, thorough, and takes her time when speaking with you. She has valuable insight and is honest. I would refer her to anybody I know that needs patent help/services and I will definitely be working with her on future projects.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
As a Patent Agent I have the same intellectual property knowledge as an attorney because we pass the same registration examination. The difference is I do not have the overhead of an attorney and can therefore quote better pricing while providing an excellent service of searching, writing and filing your patent application. I also keep track of your patent with my docketing system throughout the life of your patent.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have a nice conversation, get a feel for your project and how far along it is. I can then determine if you need a search, need to develop your idea more, prior to filing, or if you are ready to write and file!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have passed a 6 hour bar exam with the United States patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). I have a Bachelor degree in Biology, but have worked for over 17 years in the software arts, mechanical, telecommunications, etc.. There is not much that is not in my wheelhouse. Chemistry! Chemistry is not in my wheelhouse, lol.
