I had a punch list from a home inspection that needed to be completed quickly. I contacted Thumbtack and was fortunate to be connected with Rise Construction and Design, where I hired Gilbert.
I initially needed the fascia boards and exterior pillars scraped, repaired, and repainted. Because the work was required following an inspection, I was working against a deadline. Gilbert responded promptly, clarified exactly what needed to be done, and gave me a specific date and time for completing the job.
What I didn’t initially realize was that Gilbert is the owner of the company. However, once I saw his craftsmanship and the quality of his work, I completely understood why. His work was clean, thorough, detailed, and polished. The fascia boards looked brand-new when he finished!
Most importantly, Gilbert helped me pass my inspection the first time with flying colors and no issues. His work exceeded my expectations, and I truly believe it is only a matter of time before Rise Construction and Design experiences tremendous growth.
I am someone who does not usually leave reviews, but the quality of Gilbert’s work made this review well worth writing. If you are looking for excellent craftsmanship and dependable, high-quality service, I highly recommend Gilbert and Rise Construction and Design.

I could not be happier with the work from Gilbert @ Rise Construction and Design. I had my kitchen remodeled 5 years ago by another contractor and it was not the best work and was a little disappointing to say the least, I was afraid I would have to get my countertops removed and replaced to get it all fixed correctly, when I realized my sink was falling. Gilbert was able to fix my falling sink, cabinet and cover up all the mistakes from the last guy to make my kitchen look beautiful, like it was done by a professional and not like I did it myself. His knowledge, professionalism, respect makes you feel comfortable, like your family and he cares about doing good work, he isn’t just trying to get more money and doing quick sub par work for it. I would definitely recommend Gilbert to anyone that needs quality, honest, excellent work.

I can’t say enough good things about Gilbert. He was amazing very professional. He knew what he was doing. Any problems that came up he fixed them right away. He was very professional. I 100% stand by him and his work, I had a birthday party to go to, so I left him alone in my garage to finish his work when he finished he FaceTimed me and sent videos to show his completed work and it was flawless. Very trustworthy. I Can’t recommend him enough I will definitely be contacting him for all my future project needs

Gilbert did an amazing job setting up and installing my gym mirrors in my garage. He gave me suggestions and ideas that changed the vision that i had and it came out wonderful. The assembly of an electric dirt bike was done to perfection. My son is going to love it for his birthday coming up this week. I most definitely will be doing business with this company in the near future. Excellent excellent job Gilbert!!!
