Trustworthy upfront pricing and great communication throughout the project earns Papa Bear 5 stars. When there was a challenge he always discussed so we we're in agreement before moving forward. My project included heated flooring mats which although he doesn't perform electrical work, he accommodated this factor and teamed up to ensure all went smoothly and went above and beyond. Did a great job installing laminate in 2 bedrooms and a bathroom and installing closet doors. We had some termite damage in our bathroom and he fixed it too. Job took longer due to unforeseen circumstances but overall did a good job. He doesn’t do any painting fyi.

I had a kitchen island with no base moulding at the bottom . Water damage caused the original moulding to swell and it was impossible to match the original wood stain and grain. I was looking for the right person who could do custom work . Ulisses is the man! He came down same day and knocked out the kitchen island. It required lots of creativity to cut the base moulding to hug the island and clean up all the lines. He also helped us straighten and secure the cabinet footboards with new base shoe. He communicated all he was doing and was very punctual with his work.

Ulisses does solid work. I’ve used him for a number of both small and large projects for a rental duplex that I own. His prices are reasonable, and the work is done very well. He’s also very responsive, always getting back to within a few minutes of when I call. The biggest job I had him do was replacing the flooring in one of my rental units. He did a great job.
