Vanessa, We’d like to start by saying thank you and we appreciate you referring your clients to our services. When it comes to moving, there are several variables that can increase the duration of the move. In this particular case there were many variables that lead to an increase of duration. This weekend, there was a severe rainstorm that forced us to rescheduled several jobs. Even though we rescheduled the move, the client was fine with it because she said it allowed her time to finish packing. When our crew arrived, there was a lot of packing that needed to be done. As a result of the packing not being completed, the crew was forced to load many miscellaneous items into the truck, which lead to an increased in the duration of the move. Furthermore, it was discussed prior to moving that the crew would not be moving the entire house. Some items were to be left behind for the new homeowners. When our crew showed up to move, the client requested that we in fact move the entire house. As the crew was moving, they asked the client if items were being left or going in the truck. There were several moments when the client told our guys to leave items behind and they did just that. When it came time to depart, our crew lead asked the client if there were anymore items to be moved and she answered “no.” At that point we told the client that the truck would be departing to the drop off address. She acknowledged the fact that the truck was leaving. When we arrived at the new house, the client was not present and the crew had to wait almost 45 minutes. Once the client arrived she mentioned that there was a sofa that was not loaded. At the time, we asked repeatedly and even did a walk through of the house to insure all items that needed to be moved were moved. The reason for the increase in price was solely off the strength that there was a rainstorm, packing was incomplete and inventory was being added as we moved. We appreciate you taking the time to leave us feedback from your experience. We intend on using this specific move for training purposes moving forward so future customers can a situation like this.

Showed up with the wrong size truck, but they remedied that after I made clear I was upset.3 movers, for a 2800 Sq ft house. The movers were disorganized and careless, except Mac, he was friendly and hardworking. The other two were slow and disorganized, bouncing from room to room collecting miscellaneous furniture only to go to a different room and get furniture to go back to the previous room. Took way more time than it should have. When we got to the new house, the movers were careless, scratched up walls and floor with the furniture, and to add insult to injury, broke multiple pieces of our furniture including a $3000 under counter stainless steel refrigerator. Octavia was constantly calling for "what the movers were telling her" and then showed up randomly at our new address (after dark) while the movers were unloading and was unprofessional. Charged us almost double than the original estimate because they were slow and were caught multiple times just sitting on the bed of the truck.. Definitely going with a different company next time.

Alexis, We appreciate you bringing your concerns to our attention. In regards to your move; the 20 foot truck that was originally provided was based on the inventory you input into your moving portal. When our movers showed up, they mentioned that there was more inventory than listed on your moving portal. We did accommodate you by providing another 26 foot truck. After loading a 20” and 26” truck full (46” in total), the duration of your move was understandably increased. We understand that when the crew is moving, it may look like they are grabbing random furniture, however, they are grabbing furniture that could be used to place in the truck in that moment. When loading a truck, it is important to have the right items at the right time to maximize space. Lastly, your original quote was around $1,800. After discussing the details on the phone with you, there was an understanding that we would only move the large items and not the small items, for half the price. We ended up filling two trucks and moving the whole house which is why you were billed the full amount of the move and not the revision.
