- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My minimum charge is $125 for a simple tax return which includes Federal and State efile. Any additional forms and schedules (eg. itemized deductions, tax credits, capital gains etc) would incur additional charges. I provide a reasonable quote of these costs upfront.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually start with a phone conference followed by an appointment if necessary. I provide my clients with a Tax Organizer which helps them gather the required information to complete their tax return.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As an Enrolled Agent I am licensed to represent tax payers in all tax matters before the IRS and am required by both the IRS and the National Society of Enrolled Agents to take continuing education credits to keep up to date on the tax code.
