Had Safe Labs Testing come out to our place in West LA for mold testing after some water damage. Owen was great, very knowledgeable and easy to work with. They did air sampling and checked for moisture. Got our lab results and report back quickly. Really liked that they only do testing and not remediation. Definitely recommend!

After repairing a slab leak in our Marina Del Ray home, we scheduled mold testing with Safe Labs Testing to make sure there werent any hidden issues beneath the flooring. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$450 for one location. That covers the full inspection, an outdoor baseline sample, the lab analysis and a written mold report. Each additional test or location is $175. If mold testing isn't needed or recommended, the inspection alone is $125. No hidden fees. I'll tell you up front how many samples I recommend, and why.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
You call or message me, and I'll ask a few questions about what's going on. I'm usually out within 24 hours. On site, I do a visual inspection, check for moisture with a meter, and take air and surface samples where they're needed. Samples go to an accredited lab, and you'll have results and a written report in about 24 hours. Then I walk you through what it means and what to do next.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a MICRO Certified Mold Inspector (CMI #86600) and I do every inspection myself. My training covers mold sampling methods, moisture investigation, building science and lab interpretation.
