Introduction: I am a non-denominational minister based in Los Angeles, and I have performed ceremonies from Laguna Beach to Santa Barbara.
"Being of Service" is primary focus and I always provide the optimum service to my clients by understanding their needs no matter their beliefs or philosophies. Whatever the bride and groom can dream of, I can provide: from traditional to non-traditional. I officiate all rites of passage including weddings, baptisms, house blessings, renewal of vows and funerals. I have worked with couples on "Theme Weddings" such as Princess Bride, Pirates of the Caribbean...etc. Spanish/Mexican/Filipino ceremonies including El Lazo, Arras and placing of a large veil that covers and protects the bride and groom.
Because of my unique ability to provide a variety of voice characterizations and languages, I have been told that my services and ceremonies have heart, warmth, fun and a magical quality.

I completely agree with the other review. I found Reverend James on thumbtack and so glad that I did. We had a low budget so no wedding planner but he made our ceremony seamless and beautiful. His order of ceremony helped us with ideas we wouldn't have thought of and he helped us put everything in order. He is very funny and a down to earth guy so you won't be disappointed. He goes above and beyond what was expected. I can't thank him enough for making our wedding day a wonderful experience.

My wife and I are very pleased with the way Reverend James handled everything and we couldn't have asked for anything more. He did a great job during the ceremony and we also had him give a blessing before our meal. It was all fantastic. He is a great, caring man, and it definitely shows in his work. Thank you for making our wedding day so special!

My fiance and I were looking for an officiant who could perform an English/Spanish ceremony for us at our home wedding. I knew Reverend James was the perfect person from our first conversation. He went out of his was to make sure that we were both comfortable with all aspects of the ceremony that he put together especially for us. We met with him (at Starbucks!) near our work and he wanted to know the story of our relationship which he incorporated beautifully into the ceremony. He communicated with us all along the way making sure that the details were taken care of. On the day of our wedding - he arrived early. The ceremony was beautiful. He was kind and sincere and even incorporated elements of humor to make everyone comfortable. We invited him to stay for the reception and he chatted with everyone and was very popular with our guests. Please do not hesitate to hire Reverend James. You will be glad you did! It was a blessed day for us and we are so happy that Reverend James was there to share it with us!

What can we say? He is delightful, insightful, thoughtful, perceptive and intuitive - not overpowering - will figure you out and be inspired to do what moves you! It was apparent that Reverend James goes above and beyond his "pay scale" as he truly loves what he does! He is also a very nice & fun party guest!
