I recently had my 12 year old GE refrigerator die, so I googled refridgerator repair near me and I cam across LA Home Appliance site and saw all the 5 star reviews so I called. They immediately got back to me and scheduled a techician to come to my home and assess the situation. Ross, the tech, quickly assesed the problem which was the computer board and ordered one right on the spot. That was Thursday and today, 4 days later he returned with the new computer board and installed it and my fridge is brand new again. This is an example of 'planned obsolescence' but thankfully there are honest repair companies that do the work and not gouge you. I will call them anytime any of my appliances stop working. I highly recommend LA Home Appliance Services. Luckily, I was referred to them through a purchase at The Home Depot. Russ was technician who arrived to install a gas cooktop. It was not a standard install which was a surprise. Luckily it was Russ who was very skilled and methodical. I couldn't thank him enough!I hate to think what a disaster the whole thing could have turned into.
