CSA is the house architect for The Peninsula Beverly Hills, The Regent Beverly Wilshire and The Four Seasons in Los Angeles. Current clients include Dolce & Gabbana, Cedars-Sinai, Los Angeles International Airport, Castle & Cooke Aviation, Penta Water Corp., Ojai Valley Inn and Spa and The Beach Club. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every contract is dependent upon the scope of work necessary to complete a project on time and within budget. Projects are billed at either a percent complete or at our hourly rates. As a guide, our hourly rates are as follows: Principals - $175 Project Architect - $125 Project Designer - $105 Job Captain - $85 CAD Draftsperson - $75
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
CSA Architects specializes in producing building designs that clearly address the owner's functional, aesthetic and economic requirements. Upon meeting with a new client, Daniel and Richard will determine the steps necessary to produce a client's desired results. In our view the Architect should act as a catalyst to the various members of the project team to form a consensus that evolves into a tangible design concept. The firm's hands-on construction management experience makes the firm especially sensitive to the needs of owners and contractors during the construction phase. CSA's quality control and management programs, use of computers, technical expertise, and association with highly qualified specialists enables our projects to be completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Daniel Clinger and Richard Spina are personally involved in all aspects of a project's development, from inception through construction completion to ensure a successful result for the client.
