Alexis was absolutely AMAZING! She made everything so easy and the food was incredible! My family and I decided on a plan to throw my dad an 80th bday party very last minute (like days before) and with a unique request. My dad is a huge Chinese food fan so we wanted a traditional American Chinese cuisine, elevated with quality ingredients, but traditional in the types of dishes, ie beef with broccoli and bbq pork fried rice etc. Alexis knocked it out of the park! Everyone, including my dad, raved about the food! He’s quite picky and can be hard to please so it really says something that he, and everyone at the party, continued talking about the meal days after. Alexis was super quick to respond to all of my notes and put together an amazing menu that really nailed all of the key elements we were looking for. She was also extremely thoughtful and brought decorations that went along with the cuisine. The fortune cookies were a small but wonderful touch that the kids just loved. I have been singing Alexis’ praises to everyone that will listen and would absolutely look to use her again! Her team member, Rod, was also so kind and helpful. I really can’t say enough about how great the whole experience was.

Alexis catered our annual holiday corporate party in our home for 30 people. Everything was perfect. She has an extensive menu to choose from. The passed appetizers were very delicious - potato chorizo empanadas, beef sliders, and spicy tuna krisps. The holiday menu was outstanding - hand-carved prime rib, turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, sautéed green beans, field green salad with pomegranate, goat cheese and candied pecans. She also provided a fabulous dessert bar with mini fruit tarts, cheese cakes, brownies, Christmas cookies, and flan. Her presentation was beautiful with a beautiful gingerbread house that I got to keep. Most impressive was her excellent servers who helped to set up our tables, decorate the tables, prepare the food and serve. They also served cocktails and prepared a wonderful signature holiday drink. They arrived on time and left my kitchen in immaculate condition. Put away every dish, cleaned the ovens, stove and mopped the floor. They were so professional and helpful. Our guests loved the food. We've had holiday parties at very nice restaurants the past 12 years but everyone agreed this was the best party because of the food and service they received from Alexis and her team. I would not hesitate to hire Alexis for another event. She is fantastic. Thank you Alexis!

My experience with Alexis and So Divine was nothing short of DIVINE! She swept right into my last minute event and coordinated all the pieces efficiently, showed up early the day of with friendly staff, set up a beautiful display that had DELICIOUS food! My entire company has been talking about it since our Monday event--and have requested her to return for other events. We already have her booked for January. Alexis is an exemplary business woman that follows up, follows through and has amazing tasting food! Plus she brings ziplock bags and plastic so that her staff can make to go plates for people. Our entire staff was happy--and she made me look amazing. I highly recommend So Divine Catering for your event needs--especially if you like flavorful food with a smile.

Alexis and her team are top notch. They didn't have an easy space or situation to work with at our event. They not only made it work exceptionally well, they did way more than I expected to make our event super special. We ended up running behind on set-up on our end and they stepped right in to get things done in time. Without them, I would have been super stressed.
The food was exceptional, there was never a single dirty plate or garbage laying around, and the spaces they used were cleaned up better than when they arrived.
So Divine was not the cheapest option/quote that I received, but Alexis was the prompt in her response and had the most energy and detail in her suggested menu and descriptions.
I absolutely got en exceptional overall value. They delivered 100% on the money I spent for our event.

We highly recommend Chef Alexis and her wonderful team for your next event. We had been having difficulty trying to find a caterer who not only understood our needs for the event, but also was able to accommodate our last minute booking. Chef Alexis was more than accommodating with so many last minutes changes (menu, setup, guest count, staffing needs), always available to speak to be sure she and I were on the same page. She even went out of her way to hire additional staff to fit our “esthetic” for the event. Day of the event, Chef Alexis and her team went above and beyond to be sure everything ran smoothly. She was too able to work with our limited space to create a beautiful and delicious catering for our event. Thank you, Chef Alexis, for all your incredible help!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing starts at $80 per guests for breakfast, brunch, lunch, heavy appetizers or dinner. Plus $300 + gratuity per chef or waiter.
Pricing for a bartender depends on the length of the event & the cocktail menu.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I speak with the client to get the details of the event such as event date, start & end time of event, city the event will be held in, guest count, clients preferred cuisine, clients budget & clients overall vision for their event.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an Associates Degree in Culinary Arts from Johnson & Wales University.
