This was our first major home renovation, so we were pretty overwhelmed in the beginning. The team at The Oak Development was incredibly patient and walked us through every step without ever making us feel rushed or pressured. The project manager even met us at a couple of stores to help us pick out our kitchen appliances and flooring because we had no idea what would work together. That level of help was way beyond what we expected from a contractor. The finished kitchen turned out beautiful, and the whole experience was actually enjoyable thanks to him.

After a pipe burst, our house was a complete mess and we honestly didn't know where to start. Someone in a facebook group recommended The Oak Development, and they showed up quickly, looked everything over, and immediately started helping us make a plan. Arie who’s the owner worked directly with us through the insurance process, answered questions whenever we had them, and made sure things kept moving when it felt like everything had stalled. There were days when we were completely stressed out, but he always made us feel like someone was looking out for us. He never disappeared after getting the job like some contractors do. Looking back, I don't know how we would've gotten through that situation without him.

I wish I had hired Arie from the beginning. We went with another contractor because his price was lower, even though he had warned us that a few things in the proposal didn't seem right. Unfortunately, he was right. The other contractor took a large deposit, left the project half done, and created even more problems that had to be fixed. I called Arie back, explained what happened, and he stepped in without making us feel embarrassed about our decision. He figured out what could be saved, fixed the mistakes, and helped us avoid spending even more money than we already had. The quality of his work was excellent, but what I'll remember most is how calm and professional he was through the whole process. If you're trying to decide who to hire, learn from my mistake and call Arie first.

We hired the Oak Development to remodel our entire home, including the roof, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out.
