We are constantly participating in educational forums to stay abreast of the latest developments in our field and to share information regarding the latest developments. We also participate on legislative committee's to give feedback on proposed legislation before it becomes the law.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We took on the representation of a mother who was in the process of divorcing her husband. To gain the upper-hand in the dissolution proceeding, the father initiated a fight wherein he struck mother and she defended herself. He then recorded her defending herself, and had her arrested. He filed for a restraining order, removing the children from mother's care and having her displaced from the family residence. We were able to defeat the restraining order, get mom and dad divorce and restore custody of the children to mother. It was a journey and involved going to court many times, but in the end we got justice for our client and it felt GREAT!
