Daniel and his tutors are true pros that know their subjects inside and out. Daniel has always responded to my texts and emails quickly and clearly. I've referred him to several friends, especially for his expertise with higher level math, such as high school and college calculus, and AP computer science. My friend's son was drowning in his USC calculus class which he needed to pass to graduate. Thanks to Daniel's team, he finally passed that course that he had previously failed and dropped. I think his calm and focused approach is helpful for students who are struggling with tough technical subjects. Definitely go with Daniel if you want your kids to really learn those challenging subjects with an experienced guide!Jan 1, 2021Verified

Daniel tutored my teenage son in Algebra and Geometry for over one year. During that time, my son's grades increased and he became more confident with Math, in general. His time with Daniel set him up for success in Algebra 2 this year (11th grade). Daniel was always on time, very polite and courteous with my son! Highly recommend his tutoring service.Dec 20, 2020Verified

Daniel worked with my son Gió that needed to enhance his performance for his Algebra final. He was absolutely professional, on time. The actual quality of tutoring was impeccable and my son was able to fully take advantage of the time with him to benefit his understanding which eneded up resulting in a higher grade.Jul 4, 2020Verified

Best math tutor you will EVER have! I have become a mathlete in the areas of Algebra and Calculas. Daniel is AMAZING and extremely patient and understanding when it comes to teaching. He really has a gift. I love math now because he has explained it in a way that is relatable to life. I recommend him for any age and any level.Jun 17, 2019Verified

Mr Daniel is a very dedicated math tutor with a flexible schedule. He explain topics in different ways and break them down to the basics so that you really understand it thoroughly. He is always on time and excellent in subject matter. Mr Daniel helped me to achieve visible improvements in test scores ( Virginia SOL and Class Final Exam) in Geometry related to difficult topics such as Circles and Quadrilaterals so that I can score a solid A in my class. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of learning from him.Jun 1, 2019Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? The price quoted is a bundle rate. This means an agreed upon number of hours is paid for upfront and hours are used up as lessons are provided. You need not pay this before the first lesson. Typically, customers like to try out the first lesson and decide from then if the bundle is right for them. The pay-as-you-go rate is higher than the bundle rate and depends on the details of the customer request. • Minimum lesson time is typically 1 hour but may be longer depending on commute distances. • A higher rate may be requested for commuting expenses. • Customers who reach out automatically see my base rate ($60/hr) which may not apply to the subject/service in need. • I accept PayPal, Venmo, Check, Cash, or Credit Card (3% fee) • Cancellation Policy: At least 24 hours notice or charged for full lesson. • Purchases for bundle(s) or pay-as-you-go tutoring are non-refundable.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?First I seek to understand the student's goals and level of understanding in a subject. Together, we can schedule lessons to achieve those goals in line with the student's timeline. Preparation of material is usually helpful before lessons if topic mastery is not yet met.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I hold an engineering degree from UCLA and with 10 years of tutoring experience, I have encountered countless scenarios that I can draw from to help with your unique challenges.
