I decided not to take lessons due to my budget but pricing was consistent with others on the west coast. I personally appreciated the quick responses as I needed to make a decision for a gift. I hope it works out for us going with someone less expensive and with less experience. Based on my research, this was an obvious choice but I couldn’t afford it.Jun 21, 2019Verified
Excellent tutor! Daniel tutored my 13 year old son in Physics. My son went from being completely lost to getting an A in the class. Very professional, explains topics clearly, connects well with student. My son loved the Skype/online white board method of teaching. No need to go anywhere or sit in traffic. Daniel was flexible with setting up lessons and even made time when urgently needed, like before a test. My son had a great experience and can't wait to learn with Daniel again when he gets to HS physics.Jun 19, 2018Verified
It was a very good lesson and what I was looking for.Aug 17, 2017Verified
We got together to study for my Calculus Test. Daniel was so helpful that I continued to use him and even got a 107% on my mid-term. He is very flexible with lessons and I highly recommend him!Mar 17, 2017Verified

Daniel has been very responsive and accommodating with my son's crazy schedule. He does a good job with SAT prep!Nov 20, 2019Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? The price quoted is a bundle rate. This means an agreed upon number of hours is paid for upfront and hours are used up as lessons are provided. You need not pay this before the first lesson. Typically, customers like to try out the first lesson and decide from then if the bundle is right for them. The pay-as-you-go rate is higher than the bundle rate and depends on the details of the customer request. • Minimum lesson time is typically 1 hour but may be longer depending on commute distances. • A travel fee may be requested for commuting expenses. • I accept PayPal, Venmo, Check, Cash, or Credit Card (3% fee) • Cancellation Policy: At least 24 hours notice or charged for full lesson. • Purchases for bundle(s) or pay-as-you-go tutoring are non-refundable.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?First I seek to understand the student's goals and level of understanding in a subject. Together, we can schedule lessons to achieve those goals in line with the student's timeline. Preparation of material is usually helpful before lessons if topic mastery is not yet met.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I hold an engineering degree from UCLA and with 10 years of tutoring experience, I have encountered countless scenarios that I can draw from to help with your unique challenges.
