- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I try to make my prices very fair. I put a lot of time and energy into every detail of every event I do as though it were my own. I believe it's possible to have an event that looks beautiful and is very detailed without costing a fortune.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?My process for working with a new customer is to speak with them, either on the phone or in person to hear exactly what they're envisioning their event to look like, specific details I should know as well as their budget. I also like to tell them about my event planning experience so that they feel comfortable hiring me based on my expertise. I then put together a quote describing what I would do for them, including a timeline and a price.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have been planning events, both simple and very elaborate, for over 20 years. My clients have all found me by word of mouth or after going to an event that I planned and got in touch with me to plan their event.
