- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Since I am just starting out on Thumbtack, I offer discounts to all customers. I am actively looking to build a clientelle of professional individuals and parties seeking catering/decoration.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The customer fills out an inquiry form on the website, providing basic information such as their name, contact details, and any initial preferences or requirements. - Schedule a meeting (virtual or in-person) to discuss their needs in more detail. This helps to establish a personal connection and better understand their expectations. - Discuss any dietary restrictions, allergies, or specific preferences they have. This could include vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, or any other special diets. - Understand their favorite types of cuisine or any specific dishes they enjoy. If the service is for a special event, gather information about the occasion, number of guests, and the desired style of dining (e.g., formal dinner, casual meal, etc.).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Working at my grandmother's Villa/ Culinary classes in Tuscany through the years sparked my love for cooking. Ability to break down complex cooking techniques into understandable steps for learners of various skill levels. I also tailor my teaching approach to the needs and pace of different students, and adapting to unexpected challenges in the kitchen.
