Sol Roofing is an honest and fair company with reasonable pricing. They will not sugarcoat or over or underestimate your project but will give you an accurate assessment of the facts. They were punctual, professional, and did amazing work on fixing a portion of my 27-year-old roof to include critter-proofing all roof vents in a detailed color-coordinated manner. I guess the ultimate test will be how the roof holds up during this projected El Nino winter 2026. Will keep you posted.
Details: Shingles or tiles need to be repaired or replaced • Flashing needs to be repaired or replaced • Entire portions of roof need to be repaired • Two-story building • 21 - 30 years old • Clay or concrete tile • No, the project is not covered by an insurance claim • Residential

My 98 yr old house just began to show signs of moisture intrusion inside so I decided now was the time. I got 3 companies to quote a reroof. Sol Roofing was the third to arrive. Rey came with tape in hand and in minutes measured the exact dimensions the other 2 had gotten off satellite imagery program. Impressive. House is a mix of Spanish tile and flat roof. Rey also provided some solutions to a problem area of the roof where it meets the galvanized patio awning, an area the other two companies said was not in their scope of work. Again impressive. When the proposed contracts came, I studied each and Sol Roofing's was clear, detailed and comprehensive, including an optional upgraded material for the flat area with sun/heat repelling color and top tier product. The choice was made and the team was timely, professional, personable and their expertise was obvious. How their driver was able to back into the driveway made for a Model A with a heavy-duty trailer was just beyond! Flawless. The guarantee both for materials and labor on this roof were also superior and for me the decision to hire Sol Roofing from the onset to completion was the right one. Respectful, respectable and the payment installments were clearly outlined. The city permit process was likewise seemless and came off like clockwork. The timeframe from start to finish was spot on. Thanks to Avi and Rey and the entire team for a job well done.

I had a great experience with SOL Roofing. Dave came by and gave me an estimate for repairs to my roof, and within just a few days they had someone out completing the work. The technician (I unfortunately don’t remember his name) was very professional, did an excellent job, and cleaned up afterward as if it were his own home. The whole process was smooth, quick, and professional. I would definitely recommend SOL Roofing to anyone in need of roofing repairs or service.

I had 2 other quotes before I called Sol, and did like the 2nd company, but Avi impressed me by getting up on the roof and showing me problems. He pulled out concrete tiles that only had 1 nail and showed me that there was less than the recommended 3" overlap. He didn't push me to do the whole roof; he proposed replacing the underlayment on one section, and then tuning up the rest by fixing some specific problems. They completed the job in 2 days, cleaning the roof and gutters, installing a chimney spark arrester, and painting mastic around parts of the flat garage roof. They cleaned up very thoroughly.
Details: Partial roof replacement • Roof is leaking or has water damage • Two stories • 2,000 - 3,000 sq ft • 20 - 30 years old • Clay or concrete tile • Home • Owner

Avi and his team are fast, thorough and knowledgeable. The process was smooth, he explained everything clearly, and did exactly what was committed and more. He really cares about the craft, and people’s health, safety and well being - which matters a lot when you’re dealing with major structural or mold related issues. After repairing the very damaged section of roof, he scheduled mold testing and remediation. The clean up was also great, not a single nail or piece of debris left anywhere. You won’t be disappointed.
