Introduction
I am a screenwriter and and novelist. I have written my works in many different genres. Although I have only been at this for a relatively short time, I have been making some in-roads into the film industry. The film for my screenplay, "The Good Adoption," is being made into a film and is nearing pre-production. Another screenplay, "Not Since the Toothbrush," is gaining financial backing. My screenplay, "Daria" is a finalist in the Beverly Hills Film Festival, Screenplay competition 2011. "Fear Center" was a semi-finalist at the Script Pipeline Screenplay competition of 2011. On the creative side, I know the techniques that make for a successful screenplay--appropriate dialog, use of subtext and foreshadowing, conflict, dramatic element, character and plot development and resolution. On the technical side, I understand the format, style, size and structure necessary to meet industry standards. I have written three novels and have novelized two of my screenplays. I have also adapted a book for the big screen -- von Goethe's "The Sorrows of Young Werther." I am a full time writer, dividing my time between my own work and client projects. For my client work, I provide professional deliverables in a timely manner. I always maintain an open line of communications with my clients to ensure that the results are what they want and expect and I work well in a collaborative effort. When working with clients, I offer my advice if I feel a scene or story segment is not cinematic or if there are gaps or implausibilities in the plot. However, my client always has the final say. I appreciate any opportunities you may have for me.
